Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Shanghai Meike Co., Ltd., trading online as Loyces (“Loyces,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you visit loyces.com, create an account, place or enquire about an order, contact us, or otherwise interact with our online shop.

This policy applies to customers and website visitors worldwide. Additional rights may apply depending on where you live. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

Privacy at a glance

  • We collect information needed to operate the shop, process and deliver orders, provide support, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
  • Payment-card and wallet credentials are normally collected directly by the payment provider. Loyces does not normally receive or store your full card number.
  • We share only the information reasonably needed by service providers such as payment processors, website hosts, email providers, shipping carriers, customs agents, and professional advisers.
  • Because Loyces operates from China and sells internationally, your information may be processed in China and in countries where our service providers operate.
  • We do not sell personal information for money. As of the date above, we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
  • You may request access, correction, deletion, or another applicable privacy right by emailing roselu@loyces.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Identity and contact details: your name, billing and delivery addresses, email address, telephone number, and account username.
  • Order details: products, sizes, quantities, prices, currency, discount information, order number, delivery choice, tracking information, and order, return, refund, or cancellation history.
  • Sizing information: body or garment measurements and fit preferences that you choose to send when requesting sizing help. Please do not send medical or health information unless it is genuinely necessary and we specifically request it.

  • Marketing choices: your subscription and communication preferences if we offer and you use an optional marketing sign-up.

Payment information

When you pay by card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or another method displayed at checkout, the relevant payment provider normally collects your payment credentials directly. Loyces may receive the payment method, transaction identifier, payment status, billing details, risk or verification result, and limited card information such as the card brand and last four digits. We do not normally receive or store your complete card number, security code, or wallet credentials.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and connection data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, approximate region derived from IP address, referring page, and date and time of access.
  • Shop and website activity: pages and products viewed, searches, cart contents, checkout progress, login activity, errors, and interactions needed to operate or secure the website.
  • Cookie and similar-technology data: identifiers and preferences stored or read by necessary site, account, cart, checkout, payment, fraud-prevention, and consent tools. Optional analytics or advertising technologies are addressed in Section 7.

Information from other sources

We may receive information from payment providers, fraud-prevention services, delivery carriers, customs or clearance providers, and platforms through which you contact us. For example, a carrier may send us tracking events, an address-correction notice, proof of delivery, or the outcome of a lost-parcel investigation.

4. When providing information is required

Fields marked as required at checkout, account registration, or another form are needed to provide the requested service or meet legal or security requirements. If you do not provide information needed to accept payment, verify an order, complete customs documentation, or deliver a parcel, we may be unable to process or fulfil the order. Optional fields may be left blank.

5. Who receives personal information?

We disclose personal information only when reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. Recipient categories may include:

  • Website and technology providers that host, maintain, secure, back up, or support our WordPress and WooCommerce shop.
  • Payment and fraud-prevention providers that process the chosen payment method, authenticate a transaction, manage disputes, or assess risk.
  • Delivery and trade providers, including DHL, FedEx, SF International, Cainiao/4PX, local final-mile carriers, customs brokers, postal operators, insurers, and customs or tax authorities where relevant to an order.
  • Communication providers that transmit or store order emails, contact-form messages, support correspondence, and, if you opt in, marketing messages.
  • Professional advisers and authorities, such as accountants, auditors, insurers, banks, lawyers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies, or tax and customs authorities where disclosure is required or reasonably necessary.
  • A successor or transaction participant if we consider or complete a merger, financing, restructuring, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.

Some recipients act only on our instructions, while payment providers, carriers, customs authorities, or other organisations may independently determine how they use information for their own legal, security, and operational purposes. Their privacy notices also apply to their processing.

6. International processing and transfers

Loyces is operated by Shanghai Meike Co., Ltd. in China. If you visit or order from another country, your order and support information will be transferred to and processed in China. Information may also be processed in the countries where payment providers, website hosts, email providers, carriers, customs agents, and other service providers operate.

Privacy laws and government-access rules differ between countries. Where applicable law requires a transfer safeguard, we use or require an appropriate lawful mechanism for the relevant transfer, which may include approved standard contractual clauses, a recognised UK transfer addendum or agreement, contractual and security protections, or another mechanism permitted by law. You may contact us for more information about safeguards relevant to your information.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on or accessed from your device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, and software identifiers. Loyces and its providers may use them as follows:

Blocking necessary cookies may prevent the cart, account, checkout, payment, or other features from working. If we add non-essential analytics or advertising technologies, we will update the relevant notice and consent controls before using them where consent is required.

8. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including fulfilment, customer service, security, tax and accounting, customs, dispute resolution, and legal claims. Our main retention criteria are:

  • Completed orders, payments, shipping, returns, and refunds: for the commercial relationship and the applicable tax, accounting, customs, warranty, limitation, and record-keeping periods.
  • Pending, failed, cancelled, or abandoned orders: for a shorter operational, fraud-prevention, and accounting period unless the record becomes relevant to a dispute or legal duty.
  • Customer accounts: while active and for a reasonable period after the last activity, subject to retaining transaction records that law requires us to keep.
  • Customer-service communications and sizing enquiries: normally for up to 24 months after the matter is resolved, or longer when connected to an order, guarantee, dispute, safety issue, or legal obligation.
  • Cart, session, and short-lived technical data: until the session or cookie expires or the operational purpose is complete.
  • Security and server logs: generally for up to 12 months, unless needed longer to investigate an incident, prevent abuse, or establish a legal claim.
  • Marketing preferences and consent records: until you opt out, followed by a limited suppression or evidence record so we can respect the choice and demonstrate compliance.

When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it, subject to backup cycles and technical limitations. Anonymised information that can no longer identify you may be retained for statistical or business purposes.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These may include encrypted website connections, access controls, software updates, backups, payment-provider security, and limiting staff or provider access to a business need. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

You are responsible for choosing a strong, unique password and keeping account credentials confidential. Contact us promptly if you believe an account or communication connected with Loyces has been compromised.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to legal conditions and exceptions, you may have rights to:

  • know whether and how we process your personal information;
  • request access to or a copy of your personal information;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request deletion or erasure;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • receive certain information in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal;
  • opt out of promotional email by using its unsubscribe link or contacting us;
  • opt out of a sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising use if we engage in one that applicable law defines that way;
  • not receive unlawful discrimination for exercising a privacy right; and
  • appeal our response or complain to an applicable data-protection, privacy, or consumer authority.

To make a request, email roselu@loyces.com with the subject Privacy Request. Describe the right you want to exercise and provide the email address connected with your account or order. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity and protect your information, such as confirmation through your email account or limited order details. Do not send a full payment-card number, passport, or identity document unless we specifically explain why it is necessary and provide a suitable method.

Where permitted, an authorised agent may submit a request for you. We may ask for proof of the agent’s authority and may verify the request directly with you. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. Some information may be retained or withheld where necessary for transactions, security, tax or legal compliance, other people’s rights, or legal claims.

If EU or UK data-protection law applies, you may complain to the supervisory authority where you live, work, or believe a violation occurred. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the concern.

11. California and similar US state disclosures

This section applies only when the relevant state privacy law applies to Loyces and to your information. During the 12 months before the last-updated date, we may have collected the categories described in Section 2: identifiers and contact details; customer and commercial records; internet or device activity; approximate location derived from IP address; account credentials; payment-related information handled through payment providers; communications; and inferences limited to order, fit, or service preferences.

We collect those categories from you, your device, and the providers described in Section 2. We use and disclose them for the business purposes in Sections 3 and 5. We do not sell personal information for money. As of the date above, we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising and therefore do not provide a “Do Not Sell or Share” link. If that practice changes, we will update this policy and provide the notices and opt-out methods required by applicable law, including recognition of legally required browser preference signals.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under California law. Requests to know, access, correct, delete, opt out, or exercise non-discrimination rights may be submitted as explained in Section 10.

12. Children

The website is intended for a general adult shopping audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13. A person who is not old enough to enter a binding purchase contract should use the website and place an order only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child provided personal information improperly, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

13. Third-party websites and services

Our website may link to a payment provider, carrier, social network, or other third-party website or service. Their privacy practices are controlled by their own notices, not this policy. Please review them before providing information directly to those services.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice or seek consent where required.
