These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply when you visit loyces.com, create an account, or purchase from Shanghai Meike Co., Ltd., trading online as Loyces (“Loyces,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read them before placing an order.
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to the policies linked below. Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts a mandatory consumer right that applies to you. If local law gives you more favourable rights, that law will take priority to the extent of the conflict.
Important information before ordering
- Some dresses are one-of-one pieces; others have limited quantities in one or more sizes. An item is not reserved until an order is accepted.
- Review the listing, condition, size source, and measurements carefully. A size label or guide cannot guarantee a particular fit.
- In-stock orders are normally dispatched within 1–3 business days. Delivery times shown on the website are estimates unless expressly confirmed as guaranteed.
- Shipping charges are shown at checkout. Destination-country duties, VAT, customs, brokerage, and similar fees are not included unless checkout expressly says otherwise.
- Eligible returns must normally be requested within 14 calendar days after delivery and sent within another 14 calendar days, subject to our Returns Policy and any stronger legal rights.
- Contact us promptly if an order, address, delivery deadline, or product detail needs attention.
1. The seller and how to contact us
Your seller is:
Shanghai Meike Co., Ltd.
Trading online as Loyces
Room 203, Building 3, No. 85 Sanda Road
Minhang District, Shanghai 201112, China
Email: roselu@loyces.com
Use our Contact Us page for product, order, sizing, shipping, cancellation, or return questions. The business address above is not a return address. Returns must be authorised and sent to the address provided in the return instructions.
2. Other policies included in your agreement
The following pages form part of these Terms:
If a product listing or written order confirmation contains a specific term that conflicts with a general statement in these Terms, the more specific term applies to that product or order. Mandatory law always takes priority.
3. Who may use the shop?
You must have legal capacity to enter the purchase contract. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the shop and place an order only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. You must not use the website or purchase products in violation of sanctions, export controls, trade restrictions, or other applicable law.
These Terms are written for retail consumers. If you want to purchase more than 10 dresses, resell products, or place a wholesale or business order, contact us first. We may require a separate written agreement, quotation, payment schedule, and shipping terms.
4. Accounts and information you provide
You may be able to shop as a guest or create an account. Information you provide must be current, complete, and accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your login details and for activity reasonably attributable to your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
We may suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary to protect the customer, the shop, or others; investigate fraud or misuse; comply with law; or enforce these Terms. Closing an account does not cancel an accepted order or remove records we must retain.
5. Products, condition, and availability
Loyces sells limited-stock and one-of-one dresses, which may include brand samples, showroom or press pieces, and final units. Some items may have more than one unit or size. The product page identifies the condition, size, brand where verified, notable handling, missing tags, visible marks, alterations known to us, and other material details to the extent reasonably available.
A sample may have been tried on, handled, or displayed even when it has not been worn as a purchased garment. Original retail packaging, a retail tag, spare beads, or other accessories are included only when stated or shown as included. Please read the individual listing rather than assuming that every product has the same history or contents.
Stock can change quickly and an item added to a cart is not reserved. If the same limited item is ordered by more than one customer, we will fulfil the first order we can validly accept and refund any later order we cannot fulfil. We may limit quantities to prevent resale, fraud, or inventory error.
6. Images, colours, descriptions, and errors
We aim to describe and photograph each dress accurately. Colour and texture may nevertheless appear different because of lighting, camera processing, screen settings, dye lots, fabric reflectivity, and human perception. Minor differences that do not make the item materially different from its description are not necessarily defects.
Product copy, measurements, prices, stock, and website content may occasionally contain an obvious error. We may correct an error before accepting an order. If a material error is discovered after acceptance, we will contact you promptly and offer an appropriate solution, which may include reconfirming the corrected information or cancelling and refunding the affected item. We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
7. Sizes, measurements, and fit
Size labels vary by brand, country, period, and construction. The product page therefore uses the most specific available measurement source in this order: verified dress-specific measurements, a brand-specific guide, or the Loyces general body-size guide. The source and units should be identified with the chart.
Dress-specific garment measurements describe the item, while a body-size guide describes the body measurements associated with a size. They are not interchangeable. Stretch, lining, boning, seam allowance, cut, design ease, undergarments, posture, and personal fit preference affect how a dress fits. Hand measurements may have a reasonable tolerance. Please follow How We Measure and ask us before ordering if a measurement or chart source is unclear.
Any sizing assistance is based on the information available and the measurements you provide. It is guidance, not a guarantee that a dress will fit without alteration or meet every personal preference. This does not affect your rights if an item is materially misdescribed, defective, or otherwise non-conforming under applicable law.
8. Prices, currency, and promotions
The product price, currency, shipping charge, discount, and order total displayed at checkout apply to the order, subject to correction of an obvious error before acceptance. Prices may change at any time, but a later change does not affect an order already accepted.
A crossed-out price, sale price, or comparison price is used only as described on the website and subject to applicable pricing law. Promotions may have eligibility, product, quantity, geographic, time, or redemption limits. Unless expressly stated, promotions cannot be combined, exchanged for cash, or applied after an order is placed.
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout. Import duties, VAT, sales or use taxes, customs-clearance fees, brokerage charges, and similar destination charges are not included unless checkout expressly states otherwise. Further information is in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
9. Placing an order and forming the contract
- You select a product and any required variation, provide checkout and delivery information, choose an available shipping and payment method, review the total, and submit the order.
- Your submitted order is an offer to purchase the products on these Terms. An automatic order-received email confirms that we received the offer; it does not by itself guarantee acceptance or stock.
- Unless applicable law provides otherwise, we accept the order when we send an express acceptance or dispatch confirmation. The contract covers only the products identified in that acceptance.
Before acceptance, we may decline or cancel an order for unavailability, an obvious price or description error, inability to verify payment or address details, suspected fraud or misuse, shipping or legal restrictions, or another reasonable operational or legal reason. If payment was taken for an order we do not accept, we will refund it to the original payment method.
Please review the order confirmation promptly and contact us if the product, size, address, or other detail is wrong. A requested change is not effective until we confirm it in writing.
10. Payment
You must use a payment method you are authorised to use and provide accurate billing information. Available methods may include payment cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other options displayed at checkout. Payment services are provided by third parties and may be subject to their own terms and privacy notices.
A payment may be authorised or charged when the order is submitted. We or the payment provider may carry out authentication, fraud, sanctions, or security checks. If payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or not completed, we may pause fulfilment, request another permitted method, or cancel the order. You remain responsible for any amount lawfully due, but we will not charge more than the confirmed order total except with your agreement or where a separate destination charge is collected by a third party.
11. Shipping, delivery, title, and risk
In-stock dresses are normally dispatched within 1–3 business days after successful payment. Available services, estimated times, carrier selection, remote-area charges, final-mile delivery, customs responsibilities, address changes, and procedures for delay, loss, or damage are explained in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Processing and delivery dates are good-faith estimates unless we expressly confirm a guaranteed service in writing. If you need a dress for a fixed event, order early and contact us before purchase when timing is essential. We are not responsible for a missed event date merely because an estimated date changed, but this does not remove a mandatory remedy for late or failed delivery.
Where consumer law applies, risk of accidental loss or damage normally passes when the order is delivered to you or a person you designate to receive it. If you independently appoint a carrier not offered by us, risk may pass when the item is handed to that carrier where law permits. Ownership passes when we receive full payment and any delivery condition required by applicable law is met.
12. Address, customs, and delivery cooperation
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate recipient name, address, postcode, telephone number, email address, and any information legally required for import or delivery. Please monitor tracking, respond to reasonable carrier or customs requests, and collect the parcel within the carrier’s holding period.
If information you supplied causes an address correction, failed delivery, return to sender, customs delay, storage charge, or reshipping cost, you may be responsible for the carrier’s actual unrecoverable cost where permitted by law. Refusing or failing to collect a parcel does not by itself complete a cancellation or return. See the Shipping and Returns Policies for the applicable process and protections.
13. Cancellations, returns, refunds, and problems
Our commercial cancellation, return, condition, evidence, return-shipping, restocking-fee, refund-timing, authenticity, and damaged or incorrect-item rules are in the Cancellations, Returns & Refunds Policy. That policy includes a return-notice form and explains how to request the authorised return address.
For eligible fit or change-of-mind returns, you must normally notify us within 14 calendar days after delivery and send the item within another 14 calendar days. A 10% restocking fee may apply only where permitted by law. Different or stronger statutory cancellation, conformity, warranty, refund, or return rights apply where mandatory law requires them.
Inspect the parcel and dress promptly. For an incorrect, damaged, defective, or materially misdescribed item, contact us as soon as possible and preserve the dress, packaging, label, and relevant photographs. A preferred reporting period used for carrier evidence does not shorten a longer mandatory legal right.
14. Authenticity
We identify a brand only where we reasonably believe the identification is accurate. The authenticity guarantee for products sold as branded pieces, including how to submit evidence and the available remedy, is stated in our Cancellations, Returns & Refunds Policy. Products described as “Others” or without a verified brand are not represented as coming from a particular manufacturer.
15. Website use
You may use the website for lawful personal shopping, product research, account management, and communication with Loyces. You must not:
- interfere with the website, checkout, security, accounts, or other users;
- introduce malware, attempt unauthorised access, scrape at a disruptive scale, or bypass technical restrictions;
- submit false reviews, fraudulent orders, unlawful material, or content that infringes another person’s rights;
- misrepresent your identity, payment authority, delivery address, or relationship with Loyces; or
- copy or commercially exploit website content except with permission or as permitted by law.
We may take proportionate action against misuse, including rate limiting, cancelling a fraudulent order, suspending an account, preserving evidence, or reporting unlawful conduct.
16. Intellectual property
The website’s original text, photographs, graphics, branding, layout, and other content are owned by or licensed to Loyces and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may view and make a reasonable personal copy for shopping or record-keeping. No other licence is granted. Third-party brand names and marks belong to their respective owners; their appearance identifies products and does not imply sponsorship of Loyces unless expressly stated.
17. Customer content and feedback
If you submit a review, photograph, or other content for publication, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it is accurate, lawful, and does not violate another person’s privacy or intellectual property. You grant Loyces a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, and display that content for operating and promoting the shop, subject to applicable privacy law and any separate permission we request. You may ask us to stop future promotional use, although we may retain records or completed materials where legally permitted.
18. Third-party services and links
The website may link to or rely on payment providers, delivery carriers, social networks, and other third-party services. We are responsible for selecting and using providers as required by law, but we do not control an independent third party’s separate website, account, content, or service. Its terms and privacy notice may apply when you use it.
19. Statutory guarantees and disclaimers
We do not exclude any statutory guarantee, warranty, or remedy that cannot legally be excluded. Products must match their description and meet any mandatory standard of conformity that applies to the sale.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and its general informational content are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that the website will always be uninterrupted or error-free, that every item will remain available, or that general styling, sizing, event, customs, or delivery guidance will produce a particular personal result. This paragraph does not reduce an express product commitment, an accepted order obligation, or a mandatory consumer right.
20. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law prohibits limitation.
If you are a consumer, Loyces is responsible for loss or damage that is a reasonably foreseeable result of our breach of the purchase contract or failure to use legally required care. We are not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, was caused by inaccurate information or misuse on your part, or is a business loss arising from a consumer purchase, except where law requires otherwise.
For a wholesale, resale, or other business purchase, and to the extent permitted by law, Loyces will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost revenue, lost business, or lost opportunity, and total liability connected with the affected order will not exceed the amount paid to Loyces for that order. A separate written business agreement may replace this paragraph.
21. Events outside reasonable control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by an event outside reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disaster, epidemic, war, civil disorder, government action, sanctions, customs closure, carrier disruption, strike, power or network failure, or interruption of a critical provider. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect, keep you informed where appropriate, and perform as soon as reasonably possible. Your mandatory cancellation, refund, or delivery rights remain unaffected.
22. Governing law and disputes
Please contact us first at roselu@loyces.com so we can try to resolve a concern promptly. Include the order number, relevant facts, and the solution you are requesting.
These Terms and any non-contractual dispute are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by the law of your habitual residence or any right to bring a claim before a court that applicable law makes available to you. Subject to those consumer rights, the courts with jurisdiction over Shanghai Meike Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China will have jurisdiction. The parties may agree to another lawful dispute-resolution method after a dispute arises.
23. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for future website use and orders. The revised version will be posted with a new last-updated date. The Terms accepted for an existing order will continue to govern that order unless a change is required by law or you expressly agree to it.
24. General provisions
If a court or authority finds a provision invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your order or rights under these Terms without our consent, except where law allows. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a business reorganisation or sale, provided this does not reduce your rights.
These Terms, the incorporated policies, the product listing, and the accepted order confirmation form the agreement for the purchase, except for a separate written term expressly agreed by both parties.
